U14 County Final
The U14s continue their very successful season and meet Ballina in the County Final which will be played in Foxford on 27 August. This team is going from strength to strength and your support would be most welcome as they try to win a county title. These boys have put in a lot of hard work this year and an appearance in a county final is just reward for them and their mentors

Bord na nÓg Church Gate Collection
The annual Church gate collection takes place on next week end 24/25 Aug. Please give generously as your support is most welcome. Bord na nÓg continues to provide an excellent sporting outlet for the younger generation who will not only be the sport stars of the future but will also be the healthy young people of the community.

West Mayo Junior Championship
The Junior team unfortunately went down by 2-10 to 1-5 to a very fit and competent Achill side. With a mixture of seasoned campaigners and some inexperienced players, the Mitchels were outclassed and now face a play off on Wednesday. The valiant efforts of the players and management deserves success and hopefully the play off will go their way.
