Co Board Draw
Although the overall number of tickets sold was down on last year, it still represents a substantial income for the club. Sincere thanks to all who either sold or bought tickets. Best of luck to all in the draws ahead.

Connaught Semi-Final
On Tue last the first of many 'on site' meetings at McHale Park was held. Preparing for major events takes a lot of work, planning and coordination. In the coming few weeks the help and assistance of many will be required to ensure that the event is managed in an efficient and effective manner. Come along and help any evening and the committee will only be too glad to give you some worthwhile exercise.

Comhairle Peil
Coaching Course
Phase 1 of the coaching course has been successfully completed. Phase 2 will continue later in the year. For those who missed out on the first phase, an opportunity will be given for them to catch up. This type of refresher training is essential, even for the veterans as new ideas are more often than not brought forward and it is this progression of ideas which inevitably brings success. What may have been good enough yesterday may not fulfil the needs of tomorrow.

A draft handbook for managers is currently being drafted. The object of this project is to standardise the approach to coaching, managing etc throughout the club from U10 to Senior. The handbook is in draft form at the moment and discussions are ongoing among the many interested groups in order to bring a final document for approval in the near future.
