Health & Wellbeing Seminar:

Health Considerations for Team Managers, Players and Parents:

Date: Saturday February 4th

Venue: An Sportlann

As the new football season is fast approaching, Castlebar Mitchels are delighted to host a seminar on a number of hot topics relating to sport.

This seminar is targeted at all the stake holders in football. We invite parents of children of any age, players from U-16 up and managers and potential managers of all teams.

The seminar will be presented by a very imminent medical practitioner in the area of sport Dr Mortimer O Connor, MB, BCh, BAO, BMedSc, MMedSc (Sports and Exercise Medicine). 

The seminar will be held in An Sportlann, on February 4th 2017.

This novel event is Free of Charge and it reflects Castlebar Mitchels commitment to the health and wellbeing of our players.

Managers and those interested in working with teams are invited to attend the morning session from 10am-1pm, current players from U-16 upwards are invited to attend from 1pm – 15.15pm and parents are asked to attend from 15.15pm until 16.30pm. The times and contents of each session are set out below. 

Lunch will be provided after the morning session.
