Handel's Messiah for Mayo/Roscommon Hospice

Rehearsals are well and truly in full flight for a very special performance of ‘Handel's Messiah' which will take place on December 8th at 7pm in The Church of the Holy Rosary, Castlebar in support of the of Mayo/Roscommon Hospice . All funds will go towards the building of a specialist palliative care unit to serve the people of Mayo. Introduced by RTÉ's Mary Kennedy, almost 100 local choral singers, the Celtic Orchestra, four of Ireland's top soloists, including Regina Nathan and Anne Marie Gibbons, will all perform under the musical direction of Kathy Fahey in what promises to be a very special night and a perfect start to the festive season!

Thanks must be given to Canon Cosgrave for allowing us use of the beautiful venue that is The Church of the Holy Rosary. Patrons are advised to come early on the night!
