The extremely popular hit comedy musical, I KEANO, will make a welcome return to the Royal Theatre, Castlebar from Wed 28th - Sat 31st March.

And the promoters are looking to cast a local youth to play the part of a young ROBBIE KEANE for the run in Castlebar!

Also a back-up singer - look and age as below but with a good singing voice

This is a unique opportunity to star alongside some of Ireland’s finest comedic actors, and gain invaluable experience on stage.

The auditions will take place THIS MONDAY afternoon, the 5th March 2007 in the TF Royal Theatre, Castlebar.

Requirements/notes:

  • They are looking for a boy between 10 - 12 years of age, with youthful looks.
  • He will play a young Robbie Keane, however dark hair is not essential.
  • He will have very few speaking lines, but must be able to do a cartwheel.
  • One thing to note please, is that there is repetitive foul language used throughout the musical.

A decision will be made on Monday afternoon, and we hope to have the media present to cover the story. We do not have details yet of the requirements in terms of rehearsing, however we should hopefully be able to answer any queries on Monday with the Production Company, Long Road from Dublin.

If you know anyone that may be interested and would like further details, please leave a message for me at the TF and I’ll contact you on Monday morning: 094 9023111
