Hospice Ecumenical Service
The Ecumenical Service for Mayo Roscommon Hospice Let Love Shine a Light appeal takes place on Sun 18th Jan in St John's Rest and Care Centre, Knock commencing at 3.45pm. All those for whom lights were sponsored on the Tree of light will be prayed for at the Service. All are welcome.
Castlebar Trialogue Meeting
Trialogue is an open forum for discussion on mental health issues. Next meeting on Tues 13th Jan at 7pm in room Y108, GMIT.
Career Options 2015
The Davitt College Career Options Event will take place on Sat 17th Jan from 11am to 4pm. Exhibitors from over 30 Universities and Colleges. All 4th, 5th and 6th Year Post Primary Students and Parents are invited. Adm free.

Go Beyond the Barricade
The Heroes for Hospice group is bringing its Les Miserables inspired show, Beyond the Barricade to Castlebar's Royal Theatre on Fri Jan 16th and Sat Jan 17th at 8pm. Tickets cost €15, available from the theatre's box office or by calling 094 9023111 or 0818 300 000. All proceeds in aid of Mayo Roscommon Hospice Foundation.
Castlebar Voluntary Social Services want to thank all of their dedicated volunteers who assisted them last year and also to those who helped out over the Christmas period. Your continued support to the elderly of Castlebar and Castlebar Social Services is one of the reasons why they exist so strongly and they greatly appreciate it.
The Poor Clares are holding a monastic experience day on Sat 17th Jan from 10am to 5pm, for women between the ages of 21 and 40 who would like to find out about the Poor Clare way of life. For more information see
