The Annual Diocesan display and sale of hand-knits by Apostolic Workers continues today Sun. in St. Gerald's Parish Centre from 10am to 4pm. There will be concelebrated Mass in the Parish Church at 12pm. In aid of the foreign missions.
Knock Shrine Candlelight Procession
The Candlelight Rosary Procession takes place every Thursday at 9pm throughout the months of July and August at Knock Shrine.
Calling all Grandparents!
The Catholic Grandparents Association invites you and your family to come to Mass in Tuam Cathedral on Wednesday July 22nd at 10.30am to celebrate and honour St Joachim and St Anne, Grandparents of Jesus. Archbishop Michael Neary will offer this Mass for all the Grandparents of the diocese both living and deceased. Light refreshments will be served after Mass. Everyone is welcome. Grandparents Mass: on Sunday 26th July in Parish Church at 10.30am. All are welcome.
Castlebar Tidy Towns meet @ 7pm @ Casey's Centra every Monday. Everybody
Parish Prayer Book is available in the Sacristy and from the Presbytery. Price €5.
National Pilgrimage to Croagh Patrick 2015
Garland Friday - July 24th (Local pilgrimage)
Mass on the summit at 10am.
Mass in Croagh Patrick car park at 7.30pm.
Reek Sunday - July 26th
Confessions on the summit from 7.30am - 2pm. Mass on the summit every half hour from 8am - 2pm.
Tochar Walk - Reek Sunday 26th July Departing Ballintubber Abbey at 8.30am. A backup car will accompany the walkers. Contact Ballintubber Abbey Office tel 094-9030934 for further details.
Lough Derg 2015 Last day of the Three Day Pilgrimage is Thursday 13th August. Pilgrims can begin their pilgrimage any day up until then. No need to book. or tel 071 9861518.
Youth 2000 Summer Festival, Cistercian College, Roscrea, Co. Tipperary from Thurs 13th - Sun 16th August 2015. For young people aged 16-35, a great opportunity to find out what your Catholic faith is all about in a friendly, chilled out atmosphere. The festival is donation only. Free buses available.
