Unwanted Clothes Appeal - Containers are being sent from Castlebar. Items needed: used and new clothes, footwear, blankets, wheelchairs and medical equipment. Collection point: The Olive Tree, Newtown Street, tel Mustapha at 086 3427788.
Wash bags and wellies - Ireland2Calais
Please donate a wash bag and/or wellies for a convoy going to the refugee camp at Calais on Sept 30th. Wash bag with toothbrush and toothpaste, soap, disposable razors and pack of tissues. Wellies: all sizes from 3 to 12. Collection points: The Olive Tree, Newtown Street and Western People, Linenhall Street.

Eucharistic Adoration

Latin Mass in the Old Rite takes place on Oct 4th at 5.30pm in the Old Church Knock.
Western Lakes Cycling Club - Ladies Sportive leisure cycle (64km) on Sun 27th Sept. In aid of Rock Rose House, Mayo Cancer Support Services. Register between 9-9.45am at the Cycling Centre, Kilmaine Road, Ballinrobe. Event starts 10am.
Carers Support Group meeting for those who are caring for family members or others with dementia, on Thurs 24th Sept at 8pm in the Family Centre. All are welcome.
Canadian Orpheus Male Choir and the Mayo Male Voice Choir in concert at the Church of the Holy Rosary on Fri Sept 25th at 8pm. Tickets €12 available at door. Part proceeds to Western Care.
