Tochar Phádraig Pilgrim Walks

The Tochar Phádraig Pilgrim walks from Ballintubber Abbey to Croagh Patrick take place on Saturday 27th June, Sunday 28th June and Saturday 29th August, departing from the Abbey at 8.30a.m.  A backup car will accompany all walkers to the end at Murrisk.  For more information tel. 9030934.

Date to remember

This years National Grandparents Pilgrimage will take place at Knock Shrine on Sun. 13th September. 

2p.m.: Anointing of the sick with music and song.

3p.m.: Pilgrimage Mass followed by Eucharistic Adoration.

Chief Celebrant: Cardinal Seán Brady.  Guest singers: Fr. Liam Lawton and Dana.  Children’s Prayer appeal: invitation to all grandchildren to write a prayer for their grandparents.  All prayers will be blessed at the pilgrimage.
