Corpus Christi Procession

The Corpus Christi Procession this year will take place after the 12.30p.m. Mass on Sun. 6th June. The Procession will proceed to Rathbawn Drive via Chapel Street, Gallows Hill and Rathbawn Road.


Eucharistic Adoration

Walk/Run for Hospice

Volunteers wanted to take part in the West of Irelands mini marathon, Women’s Mini Marathon Dublin and for Sunflower Days on 11th and 12th June. For more info. tel. 094 9388666. Please support local Palliative care Service.


Simon Open Door is a fundraiser involving the Simon Communities of Ireland and the Royal Institute of Architects of Ireland. In return for a donation of €50 to Simon, members of the public can obtain one hour house design advice from an architect. The event occurs on the 24th and 25th April with 6 Co. Rosary of Hope

Rosaries and booklets are being given to children in our schools asking them to please say a decade of the Rosary each day for the month of May. Please talk to your children about this, as it would be wonderful if parents and grandparents would join them in saying a decade at home. Thank you.


Castlebar Order of Malta are looking for

volunteers to run or walk in the West of Ireland mini marathon on May 2nd. Sponsorship cards available in Kelly’s Barber shop or tel. 087 2471595.


The Department of Surgery, Mayo General Hospital presents:

Public Information Evening on Bowel Cancer on Wed. 28th April from 7p.m. to 9p.m. in the Conference Centre, Harlequin Hotel. Speakers will discuss: signs and symptoms, investigation process, treatments available, enhanced recovery, patients journey. All are welcome.


Social evening for older people organised by Castlebar Order of Malta has been changed from Thurs. 22nd April to the 29th April at 8p.m. to 9.30p.m. All are welcome. Mini bus service available. Contact Laura at 087 9447495 for more info.
