Bereavement  Support Service
Coping with  the death of somebody close to you is often really difficult.   The Family Centre has a confidential skilled bereavement support service  available to anybody who may wish to avail of it.  Talking with  a skilled support worker can often help a lot.  The service is  free of charge and an appointment can be made at a time that would suit  you.

Diocesan  Implementation Group
May 2009 update
Pastoral  Councils: In late March Donal Harrington spoke to almost 500  members of Pastoral Councils on 'The Place of the Pastoral Council  in the Life of the Parish'.  Diocesan guidelines for Pastoral  Councils will be published in June.

Youth:  Over 1000 people attended the Dawn Mass hosted by the DYC at Cong on  Easter Sunday.  Students representing 2nd level schools  enjoyed a day of celebration in Knock on April 23rd.
Liturgy:  'Liturgy Groups; An information evening' will be held on Tues. May  12th in Hotel Westport, Tues. May 19th in the  Árd Rí, Tuam and Tues. May 26th  in Cararoe.
