An Evening of Renewal
An evening to stop, to reflect, to pray and to come home to yourself will take place in The Sisters of Mercy residence, Árd Bhríde, Lawn Road on Tuesday 4th October from 7.30pm to 9.30pm. Facilitator: Dervilla Byrne R.S.M.

Improve Your Confidence and Self-Esteem
A six week course which will help you to raise your self-esteem and confidence, improve your communications with your partner/children/friends and enhance your coping skills. The course will run on Thursday mornings from 11a.m. to 1p.m. starting on October 6th.
Suicide Awareness Training
This one day course is aimed primarily at ordinary members of the community. It aims to increase awareness on the issue of suicide, challenge myths and offers the participant an opportunity to be more aware of warning signs, trigger points and prevention strategies. It will be held on Sat. Oct. 8th.

Castlebar Walk for Irish Guide Dogs
All across Ireland, Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind are organising local walks and they are inviting you to bring along your friends, family and dogs to get active in your community and support this great cause.
A walk, supported by the Rotary Club of Castlebar, will take place in Castlebar on Sat., Oct. 8th at 3pm meeting in the County Council Car Park (near the swimming pool). People can support the Irish Guide dogs fundraising by purchasing a high visibility band for yourself and your dog.
