INTO - EBS Handwriting Competition

The prize-giving ceremony of the I.N.T.O./ E.B.S. handwriting competition was held recently in the Travellers Friend Hotel in Castlebar. The competition was a huge success this year with hundreds of entries from primary schools over Mayo. The aim of the competition is to celebrate the skill of handwriting and the competition is judged on neatness, style, flair and layout. The competition is open to all children, from infants up to 6^th class and there are also two categories for Special Recognition for Achievement in handwriting.

Mr Jim Higgins C.E.C. of District IV- I.N.T.O. and Mr Barney Kiernan E.B.S. Castlebar were present on the night to present the prizes to the 21 children from all over the county.
