Pupils from Rang 5, Scoil Raifteirí, have been recording a 20-minute dvd to tell the story of a trip to Italy by an Irish family. The drama Ciao Italia incorporates English, Gaeilge and Italian. The restaurant Al Muretto kindly permitted the recording of a restaurant scene on their property, on March 7th. Subsequently, they provided 10 pizzas and ice-cream for all the class of 24 students, and their teacher, Gearóid Ó Marcaigh.
