Entertainment Programme

Castlebar Host town committee have put together a very special entertainment programme for the visiting delegation featuring the best of our local talent.

On Tuesday 17^th June the visitors will be treated to an evening of Irish music with the Heather Breeze Ceili Band, The Barney Set dancers, The Redmond School of Dancers, The John Kilkenny traditional group from Castlebar and the Molloy Bros Ballad Group. The venue for this great Irish night is the Failte suite of the Welcome Inn Hotel.

Wednesday evening following the big parade the Venezuelan delegation will make their way to the Travellers Friend Hotel where they can dance the night away to all the latest chart sounds with top DJ plus a cabaret featuring Salsa Dancing.

Breaffy House Hotel will be the venue for the groups last night where they will enjoy the great sound of the Denis McCalmont band followed by a big fireworks display.

Prior to the shows each night the participating hotels are providing dinner for the guests. Castlebar host town committee wishes to acknowledge this sponsorship of the Host Town Programme by the hotels concerned.
