Castlebar Chamber of Commerce Presents Fawlty Towers…the dining experience at the Royal Theatre Castlebar Thursday 16th July at 8pm.

Ever wondered what it would be like to dine at Fawlty Towers? Well now you can find out…..

Enter the snobbish world of manic Basil; his domineering wife Sybil; and challenged waiter Manuel. Be one of the steady stream of bemused guests trying to make Manuel understand what it is you want. Asking for an ice bucket ends up with you being presented with a “nice bucket”. A Simple procedure like opening a bottle of wine can become a huge drama.

And maybe just maybe in the middle of all these events you might get some service Faulty Style of Course.
Everything that can go wrong will……. In face this can best be described as organised chaos bundled into two hours of “fat wobbling, gut – busting, face-aching laughter” whilst AT THE SAME TIME, enjoying a fabulous light meal.

Acclaimed both nationally and internationally, selling out the Melbourne International Comedy festival in 2007 and 2008, Adelaide Fringe Festival in 2008 and at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2008, this interactive comedy dining experience is a must see for fans of all ages – just don’t mention the war!

The Castlebar Chamber of Commerce will be putting on this night in association with the Royal Theatre on Thursday 16th July. This will be followed by a Race night where all bets are on!!! Local Celebrity Chef Oliver Kelleher will be there on the night to dish up “Kellehers Flambe Boxty”.  A fun filled night of entertainment, laughs prizes and more can be expected. There will be a Champagne reception on arrival at 8pm and shortly afterwards everyone will take their seats. This night is the perfect fun night out with friends, work colleagues and family.

This promises to be one energetic show of non stop entertainment and laughter …..
