End of Year Eclipse of the Moon

Photos of tonight's partial eclipse of the Moon as seen from a back garden in Castlebar. A slight sliver was obvious missing from the lower right quadrant. The photos don't do it justice. The atmosphere is very clear tonight and the moon is brighter than the little digital camera can deal with. The photos were taken at roughly 7:25 pm on New Year's Eve 31 Dec 2009.
