Bilingual Tennis Fun Competition

As part of Seachtain na Gaeilge, Castlebar Tennis Club has a great night in store on Friday 16 March next. A fun tennis competition will take place starting at 8 pm. Entry is free of charge. Beidh fáilte roimh chách - everyone is welcome, both members and non-members alike - as long as you're willing to try your best cúpla focal a labhairt agus leadóg a imirt.

Prizes/Duaiseanna for fun competition winners as well as lots of novelty prizes for:
'Gaeilgeoir is fearr' - team who makes most effort to speak Irish on the night
An fhoireann is Gaelaí - team dressed-up/gléasta suas in the most patriotic/Irish way

Míle buíochas to Gifts Supreme, Exposure and to Conradh na Gaeilge who are sponsoring this event.

A great night in store at the clubhouse with music, ceol, damhsa, craic in the bar. Everyone welcome to come along to enjoy the music, craic and atmosphere. Ceoltóirí, singers, damhseoirí particularly welcome to join the seisiún ceoil with the Kilkenny School of Music. Beidh raffle ar suil de hAoine freisin.

Members of Castlear Tennis Club are making great effort to labhairt na teanga i rith na coicíse and to use Irish on the court, in the bar, in the club le linn Seachtain na Gaeilge. Other events trí ghaeilge for Seachtain na Gaeilge include: Darts, Table Tennis /leadóg boird, Cards/cártaí. All welcome/Fáilte roimh chách.
