Colonies? You have to be kidding. You English throughout history were the worse "colonialists" in the entire history of the world. The U.S. happens to be the world leader. A leader who, almost alone, protects the free world. The Democratic world, which, with all its faults, happens to be the best way in which to conduct government. I would think you'ld ask your grandfather or father and they'd tell you that if it were not for the U.S. you'ld be walking the 'goose step' now. We happened to save your country, and Europe as a whole, twice. So please - don't throw stones if you live in a glass house.
