After all, there country was once in complete control of Nazi's!. Of course not!. They should not have to answer for what past generations did. By the way, me asking my grandparents about the U.S 'saving England's ass' in the WWII would be a bit pointless considering they were Irish. And ditto my parents. In fact, I can only trace my roots back to Ireland. But then I believe where you are born and raised is your nationality. Thus I'm English. This is why I'm continually baffled by American born people of Irish parents who called themseleves Irish OR even 'Irish-Americans' having never even been to the country they claim 'part' nationality of. Seems like a bit of a identity crisis to me. It's quite clear Thomas (and remembering the other threads about Prince Harry from a while back!) you are bogged down with age old history and prejudices that have nothing to do with current or recent generations. Move on Thomas. This kind of attitude does no good for anything.
