No, Mogli , its not too dramatic. You see, I too am a Castlebar person, proud of my town and concerned about what its becoming and where it might go. I feel that standards at the Connaught have reached an all-time low as regards spelling, punctuation and literary style and presentation. While I dont expect the standards of the Sunday Times, I do expect something better for my money and quite simply I get that now in the Mayo News. And since you are on the circulation figures, could you give us the figures for the past five years - I'd be surprised if The Mayo News is not catching up with the others. And finally, I must say that the refusal to report on the contribution of any local councillor in the Council chamber is both silly and unwarranted.
