[Photo Galleries ][Polls Discussion ] Posted by Just wondering like on January 27, 2003 at 08:44:35: "The Association of Garda Sergeants and Inspectors says crime in Limerick city is in danger of getting out of control" Why is it that when some problem (real or imagined) starts to become worse do people start situation is "getting out of control" wheather it is crime, the North, road accidents, unemployment, homelessness, drugs, famine in Africa, war in the middle east, the ecomnomy, pollution, the price of biscuits etc. I mean is there someone behind the scenes pulling the strings and deciding exactly how much trouble there will be in the world this week but now and things go wrong and theres a little too much death, misery and cahos so someone declares things are" getting out of control" ?
