The two times I've did it I've gone in from Delphi adventure centre. Best route is a horseshoe route up the North Ridge and down the South Ridge (Descent/Ascent is hardest on North Ridge). In terms of difficulty I would say similar to, perhaps a bit more in bits than Nephin.
