Spot on with the Lusitania.

The Belgrano was the Argentinian capital ship, which PM Thatcher ordered to be sunk during the Falklands conflict even though the ship was sailing away from the Malvinas. More than 600 lost their life at the hands of a deadly, modern torpedo fired from an attack submarine. The eventual result of the war was that Argentina lost the Malvinas but then overthrew their dictatorship. Whereas Britain won the unjust war (with the help of American intelligence) but gained a psuedo-dictatorship called Thatcherism whose negative effects are still felt in the UK today.

The Bismark was one of the two main capital ships of the German Navy during WWII. After sinking the British ship 'Hood' with one salvo, PM Churchill ordered every ship in the British Navy to hunt her down. This they duly did, and by way of a lucky torpedo hit on her rudder, sank the Bismark with the loss of over 1,000 lives.
