From people ive talked to in the US it seems to depend on what part of the country youre in and your background
i.e. People in the South and Southeast are more likely to support the war White people are more likely to support it than Black people Support varies among income brackets as well
In Britain people generally vary from indifferent to opposed although people are resigned to the fact that its likely to happen anyway
