Sorry but got caught the other day believeing something on the internet that turned out not to be true.
Is there something rating the "usefulness" order of a language? 'Cause some languages are spoken by alot of people, but only in one region of the world, and unless you're there, they're not so useful. For example, unless you're in Brasil or Portugal there are not many Portugese speakers.
(I love Portugese, it's beautiful, don't get me wrong...)English is spoken as a second language by alot of people, as is, in my experience, French, and in Eastern Europe, German. Chinese is useful because there are many Chinese all over the world so you can speak it almost wherever you go.
Anyway, it is all fun!
