That was the Vikings who settled Dublin...and Waterford. The Normans are the dear fellows who
divided the island into Baronies. They built most of the castles. They're the ones responsbile
for starting the same "class" system they had previously introduced in England. All in all,
I get the impression they were a snooty bunch....much like present day French.
