I am trying to find my father in the records. I found 18 EFG and one from Charlestown, Mayo. My father was from Ballyglas.?? Also I read about Gro-Brics(for someone that don't want to use peat in their garden) in one of the papers in Mayo.( leisure Mar24,2003) Wood ashes conrtain no nitrogen, but 1.5% phosphorus and 8% potash, and its free. Powder bloodmeal 15%, is the best sourse of nitrogen. Felt wastes 14%, and animal tankage 8%is next.
