All in the name of blind patriotism. This bill is frightening in its vagueness - it could be applied to practically any participant in any type of rally, or act. Mandating a sentence of 25 years to life for blocking a street, in protest of an unjust war, is so draconian that I can't even comprehend it. I agree with you, the bill won't pass, but the mere fact that it is going to be discussed and voted on in my State Assembly, is truly apalling.
