Shannon is not the issue. It's the impact these troops and aircraft have on Iraq that's at issue. Just read some of Lara Marlowe's articles over the past couple of weeks. About the impact of cluster bombs exploding over the heads of a group of children playing outside their farmhouse for example. Or the headless body that landed on the roof of a building in the market area of Baghdad. The old "surgical" strike approach to war. Quickly remove their heads - surgically. The man whose whole family disappeared in an instant - and we even know the serial number of the US made bomb. Clever weapons. The cluster bombs are extra clever - a certain percentage drop to the ground intact and act as land mines so that later on they can rip the ankles and knees from small girls and blow the hands and testicles off small boys attracted by the bright and shiny spheres. But the enemy uses weapons of mass destruction so that's alright then - of course ours are not weapons of Mass Destruction? Give US a big break Mr Bush. What's that you say?

But we'll get their oil and continue to use SUVs - so f*ck the little children. Bomb de little b*stards? Tuff sh*t - daze only I Rackies and dunt even speek inglish?
