I was never scared of him. It was always her that I got sent to when I was bad, damn but she knew how to freak you out.
And then of course you had O'Barrell, sitting up on her high stool, eating her low-fat yogurt. Someone should've told her that it doesn't cancel out all of those greasy dinners you know she had to be eating.
I had fun with Patch. I read the LOTR in his class. I'll never forget the difference between a Narcissis and a Daffodil (even if I can't spell them).
I can still recite Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening, by Robert Frost. It came up almost every year since I learned it in my English classes. I remember once in Junior year (pre-leaving) I had a complete bitch of a teacher for English. She asked for someone to read the poem and I said I'd do it. I closed the book, stared right at her and recited the entire thing without missing a word. She was soooo freaked out she pretty much let me do whatever I wanted to in class for the rest of the year. She thought I was a frigging genius.(did I spell that right?)
