I think in fairness, its a bit rough to blame the people who sell these Nike goods. After all they have to compete with each other and in some cases this could make the difference between keeping a business going and having to close it down. What are these people supposed to do?? Stop selling Nike and the likes and hence go out of business. Considering the amount of Nike stuuf in Stauntons, he'd be out of business in no time. To be honest the only people I see who should be doing something about this is the public and the Government. All the Public has to do is stop buying Nike gear and hence every shop looses out the same. As for the Government, well they should just have it banned altogether. Now I might get blasted for this, but its just a point which I don't necessarily agree with, but I believe others might use it as an argument, and seen as I don't know too much details about the issue, the point could be totally wrong. Consider this: Are these kids made to work? Is the money so bad for the economic conditions they live in? Do they need this money to survive. Where would they get the money if Nike did not have a factory there? Do all large companies who build factories in other countries not pay relevant to the countries economic status. I hate to hear of such things, but if Nike was shut down, would these kids and their families be better off???
