Posted by PJ on March 20, 2002 at 13:22:13: Just listening to the radio report on the Galway Dublin pipeline. The revelation of the towns on that pipeline bodes good for Castlebar wherby it would seems that if places like Clara and Ballinasloe and Ennis are viable for gas then Castlebar should be too. Interesting how the report says gas pipelines started being unloaded in Foynes this week for that project. I thought the lorryloads of Iggy Madden lorries passing thru Castlebar en route for Erris on a daily basis for the past 2+ months were coming from Foynes.
