RE: London police on 28MHz ?? Must have been a long lime ago. Police nowadays use UHF in Large Cities VHF elsewhere and increacingly they use encrypted digital (TETRA) as well. As listening to the Police is (usually) illegal over here I wont be any more specific about frequencies (although the info is out there on the internet if you know where to look)
