I do have to say however that Texans are a breed apart. I have not found them to be friendly and their religious views can be quite oppresive. They are nothing like Irish people. Texas has go to be the most overated state in the US. I love the US in general but Texas is different and I am less willing to defend it and its arcane gun laws, corrupt police, over zealous execution policy, corrupt businesses and well the list goes on. p.s. I have lived in Texas for 5 years and I am looking forward to moving to another state this summer.
