The worst thing about visiting Ireland from the UK is the bleedin (literally) ferry prices. Now that PO/Stena have been allowed a virtual monopoly on the north of Ireland routes they have just kept on putting the prices up. I'm looking at well over £200 quid for a cruddy two hour crossing this year. And yet similar trips on the continaent are but a fraction of that cost, even in scandinavian countries. Disgraceful.
