I was never so proud of being an American who brought the end of Hussein's regime when I witnessed thousands upon thousands of Shiites going to prayer at Karbala, at the shrine of the seventh-century prophet, Imam Hussein. If Hussein , Saddam that is, were still in power they would have been killed or imprisoned for doing so. In this case the United States made sure they had food and water along the roadside and stayed out of the way. What a difference. Yes, there is a GOd, and Allah.`
