Can you grasp the fact that 30% to 40% of the TOTAL POPULATION of some African countries are now HIV positive?

A Quote from a UN Humanitarian Aid Co-ordinator about Zimbabwe:

"The country's prevalence rate is 34 percent, which means that about 2.3 million Zimbabweans have been infected with HIV and 600,000 have full-blown AIDS. But do you know the worst part? Three-hundred-thousand of the people infected are children!"

It is easy to work out that most of the country must be homosexual or at least bisexual for 34% of THE TOTAL POPULATION OF A COUNTRY to be HIV positive. Just think about it Ed - 300,000 children born to homosexual parents?

It is so prevalent in Africa because of the fact that the AIDS virus first infected humans in Africa due a cross infection from an animal - a bite or similar - a species jump just like the SARS virus. Nothing to do homosexuality I'm afraid as witnessed by the number of widows and orphans. Generally speaking homosexual men don't leave widows or orphans behind them.

Bush's withholding of cheap medicines which these people can afford is simply adding to the problem.
