Merely change Jews for Muslims, Change communists to anti capitalists, change trade unionsists to liberals and regard the whole thing from a paranoid US right wing perspective, put very simply "You're either for us or against us" and basically there's only one place for you if you're against us - Yep it ain't too far from Berlin in the late 1930's except in late 1930's Germany at least the country was prosperous and booming...
