The standard review procedure is someone reviews a film and thats it. You have the opinion of one person. I don't know about others but I've read favourable reviews of films that have turned out to be crap in my book. If it were possible to get more people commenting on a single film and rating it that should give a more balanced impression of how people enjoyed it. Also a simple rating (optional comment) mechanism might encourage contributions from people without the time or the literary skills to pen a proper review. Not knocking your reviews HP, or indeed PJ and the others but there are reviews in every paper or magazine you pick up. Actually theres an other idea, how about someone pull together reviews/ratings from a number of sources and publish an overall rating ? Why do I get the sneaking feeling that both ideas already exist :-)
