First I have to applaud the recent reports on this website on the Olympic visit to the town and for PJ's excellent pictures of the Harry Potter reports. One observation that I feel I have to comment on.... why is it that the Castlebar website seems not to get exclusive material on these events. For example, why are the images taken from the crowd during the Olympic event in the mall? Why had PJ to wait outside with everyone else before the Castle book shop let him in with the public. It is obvious that the Castlebar website has become the centre of local news reporting for us 'immigrants' and I feel that the people who give us this news are not given adequate access to the local events. For instance, the site members should have been allowed to be nearer the stage in the mall to get quality images. PJ should have had access to the Castle Book shop to interview/ photograph the books and to get the first images of people coming into the shop.
