What's the story with those sticky labels that get put on your car if you park where you're apparently not supposed to. They are obviously designed and applied so as not to come off easily and to leave a trace of glue on your window. Have they the right to deface your car like that. I can understand the law allowing them to leave a notice informing you that you should not have parked there and not to do it again, but these labels are being used as a form of punishment, as they are clearly designed to cause major inconvienience. I wonder what the legal status is. Can I sue the perpetrators for a new window?
