A total void would only be a total void in the absense of time.
The whole concept of time-travel is ludacrus. The relationship between time and the speed of light shows that time is relative and the speed of light constant. If you were able to slow time for yourself relative to where to started, time will still have moved on at the same rate when you return, making you yonger than you should have been, but not returning the previous day.
In order for time to go backwards, it first needs to stop and at this point you wouldn't exist.
