E=ămc2 is probably the most experimentally proven mathematical formula ever. However, just as Newtonian Physics is really a subset of relativistic physics with the constraints of low velocity and low gravity, Relativity may be a subset of a larger theory. It works fine for most situations currently encountered, but stumbles on things like spontaneous beta radiation.
