When a person stands for public office largely on a religious ticket (as she did) then it is only right that her views should examined/criticised or even praised. Just because we have to respect a persons right to their opinions on religion (or any other topic) doesnt mean that their opinions should be above criticisim especially when they use use religion to justify ther political stance

Are you suggesting that People like Ian Paisley, George W Bush, and even Osama Bin Laden should all be above criticisim because they claim to act out of religious conviction ?
