this latest environmental disaster, the tragic landslide at pollathomish, following on from the destruction of clew bay's clean waters by fish farms, and repeated "boil water" alarms this summer, plus wind turbines ruining ancient sky-line at every turn while benefitting only the landlords in question, has convinced me that if the vested interests dogging this county dont get exposed soon, our children will wind up in a county that in many respects will resemble a toxic dump. incidentally, what gives with these wind turbines? have they made electricity any cheaper? No? Wonder why?
