Am I right in reading that a few years ago the estate of Ernie O'Malley, donated a large part of his collection ie.books,journals.etc to Castlebar?
I'm not sure was it Mayo Co.Council or Mayo Library but that it was earmarked to be displayed in the Church building in the Mall, Castlebar,when it was being used as an exhibition centre before the Linenhall Centre came into being.
What happened does anyone know? And if not,why not?
