Fair enough - and a fair point. Most of us didn't see it coming.
In all honesty, would you suspect a company who was spending hand-over-fist to be going wallop?
This again re-enforces my point that the blame cannot lie solely with the managment - they had confirmation that more funding was coming (this need for funding had been forcasted and was always in the company's spending plan - or so we were told).
One thing - you really do seem so eager to attack me and especially Ebeon. I'd love to know why you have such a personal hatred of Ebeon?
As I said before, it wasn't my fault you bought shares in a company which can't exactly be described as the best in the world and the could have salvaged *some* of their investment if the had waited to see if 3I were going to make an offer. The Deutchebank (sp?)had us valued at over $50m just before Christmas!!! We're now hearing talk of Microsoft buying out Eircom - I'd love to see that happen - for all their faults, Microsoft didn't got where they are today but having senior managment like Eircom - they'll be the first (of many) to go I fear...
It's no secret that I don't like Eircom, but I can justify my viewpoint on personal experience (and I'm not talking about Ebeon). This company is the reason I still can't have broadband internet access in my house and it's the reason I had to work weekends and un-paid overtime whilst with Ansaback (cause they can't keep their lines up and running on a Friday afternoon).

PS: I was a bit annoyed with you, but not anymore. Apologies if I directly offended you - but the experience of loosing my job and not knowing what I was going to do to live was a freaky one - I'll say it again - I hope you never have to go through it.
