Thank you for your reply. Your article reminds me that cetain topics in our society will be discussed with passion. Such as the abortion debate "Pro Life" or "Pro Choice". They then ferment untill an event of such horror occurs that the issue is brought to the surface like some steaming volcano. It would be true to say that the police are called after the event has occurred. Their training geared for this purpose. Firemen called to put OUT fires. I am neither for the death penalty nor against it ,though I agree with you,. In my message I walked both sides of the aisle playing devils advocate, to stimulate the debate, to wake up a certain poster with a usless contribution to a serious subject. To believe in the power of one. To argue that EDUCATION begins in the home ,and has nothing to do with the stereotyped curriculums inside the classrooms. The death penalty has such a tedious and very costly legal process to it's finalisation (U.S.A.),that it is cheaper to keep the prisoner incarcerated all of their life.
