I believe that, I have heard so many times of Americans been told not to tip by irish people including some in Board Failte!! I mean why the f**k not. Everyone likes to be tipped and its not as if service is included in the bill, only maybe in the odd place. But I also know a lot of Irish who don't tip, That pisses me off as well cause if I'm ever out with them and they leave a restaurant without tipping, I have to turn around and tip for myself and them while their not looking, cause to me its embarrassing when people don't show appreciation for the service they get. Keep Tipping Ed good man. To be honest I learned the tipping culture in dublin and well now I tip everywhere I go.
